AYISHA S. BALLARD

I am Ayisha Ballard, and my story revolves around a deep passion for healthcare. It all began when I entered healthcare in 2006 after obtaining a Certified Medical Assistant certification from Remington College. Since then, I have been eager to make a positive difference in people's lives.

 

As a registered Medical Assistant, I found a true passion for phlebotomy. I was intrigued by the fact that this seemingly boring, routine task holds the key to diagnosing and treating medical conditions. I quickly learned that it is not just a procedure, it is a lifeline.

Becoming a Certified Phlebotomy Instructor was a natural progression, so I went on to establish Veni Care Phlebotomy Training in 2021 here in Memphis, Tennessee. My mission was clear: to pass on my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to the next generation of phlebotomy professionals.

 

The journey has been fulfilling thus far.  Many of my students have earned their NHA certification. I have continued my own growth as a healthcare professional by becoming ASCP Board Certified. I plan to expand my outreach through teaching and will remain committed to providing the Greater Memphis area with a pathway to a rewarding career in one of the fastest-growing healthcare fields.
